We do not alter your file. A PDF proof is provided with each order. Since all work is custom to your specification, there are no returns, so be sure you follow the layout instructions exactly. The customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout approval prior to the printing process.

Postcards, Booklets, Fliers, Brochures and Business cards [Color] are available in quantities of 1000, 2500, 5000, 10000, 20000, 25000. Letterhead and Envelopes are available in 1000, 2500, 5000.

All Marketing Media artwork, designs and images must be provided in minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK color mode. art + technology is not responsible for any color shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK or PMS Pantone colors to CMYK color modes or for color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by customers. Marketing Media Printing Specifications

4/0 means you are getting a full color print[gloss] on the front side[with a UV (ultraviolet) coating] and no printing on the back.
4/1 means you are getting a full color print[gloss] on the front[with a UV (ultraviolet) coating] and one color [i.e. black] on the back.
4/4 means you are getting a full color print[gloss] on the front[with a UV (ultraviolet) coating] and the back[[gloss]with a UV (ultraviolet) coating].
8 PAGE means you are getting 8 pages of full color[gloss].
4/0 WHITE means you are getting a full color print on the front side and no printing on the back on 70lb smooth white paper stock.

16ptC2S means you are getting 16 point[16pt] heavy card stock printed with color[gloss] on 2 sides[C2S] with UV on the color(s) side.
14ptC2S Matt means you are getting 14 point[14pt] heavy card stock printed with color(matt) on 2 sides[C2S] with a matt or dull finish on both sides.
100lb Gloss Book means you are getting a 100lb premium opaque smooth finish paper stock with full color[gloss] printing and images on one side .
70lb SMOOTH means you are getting a 70lb premium opaque smooth finish bright white paper stock with full color[gloss] printing and images on one side and no printing on the back[no uv coating].

All media is Full Bleed [printed to the outside edges...no borders] The templates provide you with specs, however if you specify a border on a postcard and if border dimensions are slightly off or too small, the run could be ruined. art+ technology will not take responsibility for your art work layout.

Postcards: Make front side Full Bleed or use a border....and remember that the back side requires post office specs: the bottom left corner is reserved for a mailing address only. On a 4 x 6 postcard leave at least a 2.75" x 2.75" square for this purpose blank. To eliminate the risk of your postcards being returned to you by the postal automation process, any address that is placed lower than 2.75" from the bottom of the card should not contain a state or zip code. The bottom .625" of the back of the card is used to scan barcodes and is reserved for postal markings. Please allow for these considerations when doing your layout.

Brochures: All brochures are folded tri-fold. If you want a half-fold brochure, please call for pricing.


File Conversion for Fine Art Printing. If you send us film, slides or photographs, there will be a $75.00 per hour charge with a $35.00 minimum to convert your media to a digital format for printing. We will scan your media with an output of 2,400 ppi for 35-mm slides or 2.25-inch format film and up to 400 ppi for photos up to 8" x 11", at 3.4 Dmax, 48bit color or 16bit grayscale. We will return your media at our expense. If you would like a CD of your digitally converted media, we will include that for $50.00 per CD including shipping. If you choose to use any of our conversion services, you will be billed for these services before we continue with your print order.

Giclee Printing Specifications

No setup fee. No archive fee. This is wholesale pricing that you will not find at this quality. All papers and pigment are archival. Paper is 100% rag. Papers include Hahnemuhle, Breathing Media and Epson. If you want a specific paper, please call. When your image file has been proofed and accepted, it will be archived for future use at no additional cost. An 8" x 10" proof is provided with each order. Money back guarantee if not satisfied on any Fine Art Print. Certificates of Authenticity, image clean-up and colour correction are included with giclee printing at no additional cost[ if not extensive ]. Digital files may be uploaded thru our interface.

Other media such as film, slides or photographs may be sent through the mail [there will be an additional charge (see File Conversion above ) to convert these to digital format for giclee printing...note if you prefer to send a cd with digital images rather than upload them though this site, there will be no additional charges (see the contact page for mailing address)]. PLease provide us with images having a resolution between 230 and 400 [300+ is best] in either PSD or uncompressed TIFF. Be sure you send native resolution [not a 72 PPI that was increased to 300 PPI ]. Unlike the Marketing Media Specs, Fine Art Printing should use an RGB colour space, preferably the Adobe RGB (1998) Profile in Photoshop or Illustrator.
